Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 August 2026.
This explains what we do with your information when you use this site, send us a form, or call us. It is written to be read, not to be got past. If any of it is unclear, email contact@bizblueprints.co.uk and we will explain it properly.
Who we are
BizBlueprints is a sole trader business run by Bart S. We are the data controller for everything described here, which means we decide what gets collected and what happens to it.
BizBlueprints, 41 Tanfield Road, Croydon, CR0 1AN.
Email contact@bizblueprints.co.uk. Phone 07424 985 870.
The short version
- We only ask for what we need to get back to you.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
- Nothing that tracks you loads until you accept cookies.
- If we ever text you, every message tells you how to stop, and stopping is permanent.
- You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it, at any time. It costs you nothing.
When you send us a form
There are two forms on this site.
- The Growth Audit form asks for your name, mobile number, business name, and your trade or industry.
- The contact form asks for your name, email, company name and website, your role, a budget range, and what you want help with.
We use it for one thing: to get in touch about your enquiry and work out whether we can help. Your number is used to call or text you back about that enquiry, nothing else.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. You asked us to get in touch, so replying is the obvious thing to do with what you sent, and where an enquiry turns into work, we are taking steps towards a contract with you.
The form goes to this website’s server, then straight to our own automation server, where the enquiry is stored and we get notified. Both run on hosting we pay for and control.
Where you found us
When you first land on the site we note the page you arrived on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked. It sits in your browser for that visit only (session storage, key bb-attrib), it is deleted when you close the tab, and we only ever see it if you actually send the Growth Audit form. It tells us which marketing is working. It is not used to build a profile of you.
If you call and we miss it
This is not switched on yet. We are building a system that texts you back when we cannot answer the phone. This section describes how it will work, and it is published here first so the policy is in place before a single message is sent. We will remove this note when the system goes live, and say so on this page.
Here is what will happen when it runs.
- If you call 07424 985 870 and we cannot pick up, the call passes to a phone service (Twilio), which records that you called and the number you called from.
- If your number is a mobile, you get one text back saying we missed you and asking how we can help.
- If you reply, we keep the conversation. The replies you get are drafted by an AI assistant, and a person reads the thread and takes over as soon as there is something real to answer. We will name the AI service on this page before the system sends its first message.
- We store your number, when you called, and the messages sent both ways.
- Landlines and withheld numbers get no text at all. Someone rings you back instead.
Our lawful basis is again legitimate interests. You rang us, so a text back is a reply, not marketing, and we keep it that way: no offers, no promotions, no campaigns down the line. If we ever wanted to use your number for marketing we would ask your permission first, separately.
Stopping the texts
Reply STOP to any message. UNSUBSCRIBE, END, CANCEL and QUIT work too. You get one confirmation and then nothing else, ever.
Your number goes on a suppression list that we check before every single message. That list is deliberately hard to undo: the system can only add to it, never edit or delete an entry. So we do keep your number after you opt out, for the one purpose of never texting it again. If you ever want messages back on, email contact@bizblueprints.co.uk and a person will do it by hand.
Cookies and analytics
Analytics and advertising tags load only if you accept them in the cookie banner. If you reject, they do not load at all. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage, key bb-consent) so we do not ask again on every visit. The cookie policy lists everything we use.
Reading the blog
You can read anything on this site without giving us your details. There are no accounts and no comments. As with any website, our hosting keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
Who else handles your information
A small number of suppliers process data on our instructions, and only for the purposes above:
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and our automation server.
- Supabase, the database behind the blog and, once it is live, the store for missed-call conversations.
- Google, for Tag Manager and analytics, and only after you accept cookies.
- Twilio, the phone and text service, once the text-back system is live.
- An AI service for drafting text replies, named here before that system sends anything.
Some of them process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on the transfer protections built into their standard data protection terms. We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Twenty-four months from the last time we heard from you, then it is deleted. That covers form enquiries and text conversations alike.
Two exceptions, both narrow. If you become a client we keep what the work needs, and our tax records for six years, because HMRC requires it. And an opted-out number stays on the suppression list indefinitely, because deleting it would mean texting you again by mistake.
Your cookie choice and the “where you found us” note live in your browser, not with us, and you can clear both in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or limit what we do with it
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
- withdraw your consent to cookies at any time
Email contact@bizblueprints.co.uk and we will act on it. We reply within one month, and it costs you nothing.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we change the date at the top. If a change actually matters, such as switching the text-back system on, we will say so here rather than quietly editing the page.
